EducationUSA Academy

The EducationUSA Academy is a three-to-four-week summer program held on ten college and university campuses for 15 to 17-year-old students who are non-native English speaking foreign nationals and reside outside of the United States. The students will study intensive English, learn about the process of applying to U.S. higher education institutions, explore strategies for success in a U.S. academic environment, and experience U.S. campus life. Also, the program will include tours of diverse college and university campuses in the vicinity of the host institution. Each host institution will determine its own English language assessment process, application process, and application deadline. Most students will apply directly to the institution of their choice and pay their own program and travel costs. The program cost per student will be between $4,000 and $6,000, which will include tuition, books and materials, room and board, health insurance, and cultural activities (including campus tours). Airfare and visa fees will not be included.

The EducationUSA Academy will be held at ten U.S. colleges and universities in Summer 2016, and will be open to participation by self-funded high school students from all world regions.
