Ambassador Bitter emphasized the strong potential of e-commerce in Laos when she said, “E-commerce creates jobs and increases economic efficiency. Perhaps most importantly, e-commerce can help narrow rural-urban development gaps while fostering more inclusive economic growth across Laos.”
